How We Work with Our Clients
We work alongside;

We recognise that your HR requirements and capacity can vary significantly at any one time. Acting as your HR Detective we will provide you with the extra pair of hands you need to investigate behaviour or performance concerns; respond to employee grievances; hear formal meetings or appeals; support ill health absence or capability matters; resolve difficult working relationships; explore employee views; or implement change.
Our investigation process includes remote or face to face meetings with relevant individuals, note taking and provision of statements, gathering and reviewing information and evidence, and carrying out additional research as needed. A detailed report is provided and, where cases proceed formally, our attendance at disciplinary, grievance or capability meetings.
Supporting you with case work we offer advice and practical ‘hands on’ input either remotely via phone calls, email or virtual meetings or visit you on-site as applicable to the situation. We will support you during informal conversations or formal meetings and provide you with bespoke letter outcomes and offer a range of day-to-day HR management tools to help you resolve issues as informally and positively as possible.
Where relevant we can also support with facilitated conversations and signpost you within our trusted network for additional expertise such as mediation, management training or coaching, occupational health or legal advice.
Due to the reactive nature of our HR service, we recognise that you may only need our help for a specific workplace investigation or case work project. However, we love building on-going consultancy relationships, becoming your first point of contact when outsourced or associate HR consultancy is beneficial to help you manage your time, and provide additional resource for your team or business to effectively resolve problems.
When working collaboratively as an Associate for fellow HR consultants or employment solicitors we are happy to work under your branding should this be your preferred approach. We always work in partnership, never competition.
Additional Services & Pricing
- Proactive and Reactive Stress Risk Assessments
- Working alongside Occupational Health Services to help you manage ill health or disability related matters
- Working alongside disability advisors to provide awareness training and workplace support
- Working alongside employment solicitors to resolve the trickier matters
- Agreed additional costs such as legal advice, formal mediation, occupational health referrals, management coaching, venue hire, or other external services, will be the responsibility of the client to pay in full.
- Ad hoc consultancy @ £65 per hour (to nearest 15 minutes) + VAT
- Workplace investigations and casework projects – quotation provided upon request
- Delivery of training workshops from £750 per group per day + VAT
- Provision of employment policies from £40 + VAT
- Provision of employee handbooks from £250 + VAT
- Provision of employment contracts from £295 + VAT
- Invoices issued monthly and payment due in full within 14 days by BACS
- HR Documentation 50% payable up front with balance payable upon finalisation
- Mileage charged at 45p per mile plus 50% hourly rate for travel time exceeding 30 minutes
